Event Registration Functionality Development

World Whisky Day – A day of global whisky celebration

Original Coders Didn’t Undertake the Work

World Whisky Day website was set up in-house using only the level of customisation the founders were comfortable making. When they hit their limits, they went looking for a supplier with a more in depth knowledge of WordPress and how to make particular registration functionality adaptations they were looking for.

They needed to make adaptations to the event registration functionality, which didn’t behave quite how they wanted. The original coders were not willing to undertake what was, for them, quite a small job.

That’s when the founder, Matt McArthur, contacted WP Support Specialists.

Custom Re-Development to Enhance User Experience

We created a custom solution and re-developed the event registration to match the flow which World Whisky Day needed.

Matt comments “We got the solution we were after which really helped with the event registration process.”

When changes were made to account for later plugin compatibility issues, these were quickly and effectively dealt with.”

At WP Support Specialists we aim to do our development work with future in mind. It is important to keep all components of a website up to date – WordPress core, themes, plugins. It is common case when some updates cause compatibility issues. That is when our long-term commitment is really helpful as we fix the issues without compromising the security of the website.
